1.  Yields calculated as 32 pounds per bushel at 12.5% moisture.
2.  Rated as a percent of foliage damaged by low temperature (rated on March 4, 2002).
3.  C.V. = 13.5%, and df for EMS = 48.
4.  The F-test indicated no statistical difference at the alpha = 0.10 probability level; therefore, a LSD value was
     not  calculated.
Bolding indicates entries yielding equal to highest yielding entry within a column based on Fisher's protected
LSD (P = 0.10).
Planted: October 5, 2001.
Harvested: May 28, 2002.
Seeding Rate: 11 seeds per foot in 7" rows.
Soil Type: Appling coarse sandy loam.
Soil Test: P = Medium, K = Medium, and pH = 6.3.
Fertilization: Preplant:    28 lb N, 56 lb P2O5, and 84 lb K2O/acre.
Topdress:  25 lb N/acre on December 20, 2001 and 35 lb N/acre on January 31, 2002.
Management: Chisel plowed, disked, and rototilled.
Previous Crop: Fallow.
